Shawn Faqua and Omawunmi Dada are on the run in the first teaser for Yemi Jolaoso’s debut feature Bonny & Clara.
The duo play petty thieves, Boniface and Clara- they snatch a mysterious briefcase which belongs to a notorious gang leader (played by Femi Branch). They run away to escape the gang leader’s ruthlessness while looking for ways to extract the content of the briefcase before it is too late.

Jolaoso is known for editing Kunle Afolayan’s Phone Swap and directing Abducted, a short film on the kindapping crisis in Nigeria. The film’s cast includes Monica Friday, Gregory Ojefua, Tessy Brown, Brutus Richard and Papa Sam.
