Listen To Shaykeh’s Eclectic Blend Of Emotions And Sounds On ‘Joro’

Posted on

Last year, at Higher Vibrations, Soul train driver, Shaykeh, made her debut stage performance with only a handful of singles to her name. In what can be likened to a quantum leap this year, she aims at the mainstream with a magical twist of Wizkid’s Joro which she eponymously titles but ingeniously covers.

The entire languid affair screams artistic brilliance from the cover art which she designs herself to the carefully curated lyrics alluding to her being the center of her muses world which draws life from the atmospheric synths playing out in the background.

With a 2Baba sample, Shaykeh manages to bridge the gap between the old and new; connecting to the mainstream and basking in elements of nonconformism at a go.
