As if the song was not already poignant enough, the video opens up a whole new vortex of gloom, heart-ache, and just a glimpse of hope.
The video was shot in South Africa by Joziewood and the quality is an indication that her productions are not by chance or happenstance, but by a sovereign summons of all things artistic. The cinematography in the video does not fall short of what we have grown to expect from Simi, as it narrates the story of being hung up on an ex. It narrates the good times, the bad and culminates in a showcase of girl power and female empowerment.
