On Maria, DumomiTheJig collaborates with two-time Grammy nominee Niniola, and enigmatic Nigerian producer, Black Culture to bring to life his infectious Afro-Piano track, tackling the familiar theme of love and showing your intentions with actions rather than words.
The track is accompanied by a video that was shot in London, and directed by VisualsByLuminous, which further illustrates the song’s central theme of intention into a cinematic masterpiece.
The lyrical chemistry and flawless collaboration on Maria with Niniola is proof of his musical versatility, which is not a surprise, owing to his background. He grew up in an environment steeped in music, with roots deeply embedded in the vibrant culture of Ikeja, Lagos where he was born, and London where he currently resides, consolidated with his family rich in diverse professional talents. His father’s passion for the piano greatly influenced him, igniting a love for music that Dumomi carries with him to this day.
