Nigerian afro-psychedelic rock artist Somadina has released her debut album, Heart of the Heavenly Undeniable. It follows the release of her single, Y I Want You, which was released earlier this month, and was produced by Adey, who also produced Somadina’s single, Rolling Loud, released this September.
Y I Want You is part of the newly released album, which comprises 11 tracks, featuring various artists, including The Cave Men, Chi Virgo, Lola, and Zamir.
Somadina, Chin Okeke and Okey Onuoha serve as the album’s executive producers.
Although this is the 22-year-old’s first body of work, she has many singles to her name, including SUPERSOMA (2021), Kno Me (2020), Lay Low (2019), and IHY (2018).
“I’m so grateful to God for putting me on this journey, for the freedom to love, create and live. Special thanks to Chin Okeke and Adiv for always believing and seeing the vision. Thank you to all the amazing artists and collaborators who laid hands on this. I’m so blessed and proud of what we’ve created,” Somadina said about the album.
