Orange………. Nah, Denim is the new Black.
• Ronami: Following our incredibly corny analogy, I tried to show two versions of this concept. In the first picture, I wore my Topshop ripped jeans, H&M denim dress (which isn’t the most practical dress) that I decided to wear as a top, a white shirt and my united nude boots that can easily be swapped out for a pair of stiletto sandals. In the second picture I wore a denim shirt, denim shorts and my Puma sneakers to keep it casual, as I do J.
• Nengi: Double denim is a trend that I have loved for a very long time. It has never been a fashion faux pas to me; rather it’s something I’ve always embraced. I guess you can say it’s similar to my love for co-ordinates. I believe that double denim works best when the denims aren’t made via the same process. (As can be seen with my soft blue shirt and the contrasting tougher ripped denim skirt).
•Ronami: Yeah! I concur, Nengs as long as the washes are different, you certainly can’t go wrong. Whoever said it was a faux pas was clearly trippin’.
