Asa Asika and Davido’s relationship dates back many years. Under Asa’s management, Davido was introduced to the world and released his debut album, Omo Baba Olowo.
They then had a falling out in 2011 which led to Davido’s management being taken over by Kamal Ajiboye of Twenty20 Media. In 2016, Kamal and Davido then had a falling out which has led Davido to entrust his career in the hands of Asa and return where it started.
In their time apart, both parties have grown immensely with Asa managing the likes of D’Banj, Boj and Ayo Jay and Davido transcending into an international sensation.
This deal is being positioned under Asika and Bizzle Osikoya’s Plug Entertainment. This will mark a new frontier for the duo who have developed a partnership synergy over the years.
