2019 hasn’t exactly been Tekno’s year as ill health and controversy have resonated more than the music. With a handful of singles which failed to connect with the audience, the release of the Phantom produced Skeletun serves as a more original release than the trendy Zlatan assisted Agege.
In typical Tekno fashion, he plays around with the snare driven soundscape before he goes for the kill in a rather lackadaisical but attractive manner signature to his Afrobeat delivery. Tekno touches on several subjects ranging from Nigeria’s pressing problems to his feelings for his muse and of course gives us bits and pieces of his lifestyle.
More than anything, the alluring track is set to put Tekno on the map again, a move that comes right in time for the end of the year festivities.
