With the appreciation of Grime music by many Nigerians, its surprising that we’re yet to see a crop of Nigerian acts dabble in the genre however, producer, Telz with DRB and CE’s Fresh L and Thr33 respectively give a hint of what the future could hold with This N That.
In conversation with Culture Custodian via email. Alli Odunayo aka Telz revealed some of his intentions with the track. He stated that:
“This N That was inspired by Gang Signs and Prayers by Stormzy and I really wanted to create something within grime and house music but in a fashion that has never been heard before”
