In addition to a rather busy year marked by international exploits ranging from tours to, shows and collaborations, Teni, Burna Boy and Mr Eazi have earned nominations for the 2019 edition of the BET Awards.

While Burna Boy and Mr Eazi are fiercely in the race for the award of Best International Act, talented singer and songwriter Teni earned a nomination for Best New International Act alongside Octavian(UK), Headie One(UK), Sho Madjozi(South Africa) and Jok’Air(France).

Leading the pack of nominees is Cardi B who got a total of seven nominations which include two nominations in the same category-Video of the Year- for the videos to her hits Money and Please Me featuring Bruno Mars.
The 2019 BET Awards will air live on the 24th of June, 2019, on BET, and MTV.
