Teni’s last attempt at pure Afropop hasn’t been since her debut EP, Billionaire. Following a not-so-successful feature run this year and a three-track loosie released in the thick of nationwide lockdowns that didn’t take flight, she returns to her element today on Jo on which in her signature style, she attempts to spread good vibes by way of sound and story.

Teni teams up with P.Priime whose sprightly mix of percussions is the perfect backdrop for what seems like a freedom manifesto for the singer.
