Single malt whisky, The Glenlivet, has officially unveiled three new brand ambassadors in Nigeria—Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Osas Ighodaro, and Farooq Oreagba—marking a bold new chapter in its engagement with the Nigerian market.
The announcement was made during an exclusive dinner held on Saturday, July 19th in Lagos. Attended by a curated guest list of industry tastemakers, creatives, and culture connoisseurs, the event set the tone for The Glenlivet’s renewed vision: one that champions authenticity, sophistication, and progressive storytelling.
Each ambassador reflects a facet of the brand’s evolving identity.
Obi-Uchendu, a celebrated media personality and lawyer, is widely recognized for his impeccable style, intelligence, and cultural relevance. From hosting reality TV to moderating presidential town halls, his versatility and elegance mirror The Glenlivet’s timeless appeal.
Joining him is Osas Ighodaro, an award-winning actress, humanitarian, and fashion icon. Known for her red carpet presence and philanthropic work, Ighodaro brings a powerful blend of glamour and depth, making her an ideal face for a brand seeking to speak to the modern, aspirational Nigerian.
Farooq Oreagba, who became a viral sensation during this year’s Ojude Oba Festival for his striking style and regal bearing, completes the trio. A finance executive by profession and a proud custodian of Yoruba heritage, Oreagba embodies bold individuality and cultural rootedness—both central to The Glenlivet’s message of originality.
According to the Glenvilet, the trio was selected for their shared commitment to living boldly and authentically, qualities that reflect The Glenlivet’s heritage as a whisky that “broke traditions to set new standards.”
This strategic move comes as part of The Glenlivet’s broader effort to shape a more contemporary whisky culture in Nigeria, one that honors individuality and redefines what it means to enjoy a classic spirit in a modern African context.
With these three prominent figures at the forefront, The Glenlivet is poised to deepen its resonance among Nigeria’s dynamic and discerning consumers, blending legacy with innovation in every sip.
