The Undergraduate: Converse Rubber Tracks Featuring DAP.

1/2 of The Contract, DAP features on Vice’s, The Undergraduate, a series of four short films in the Converse Rubber Tracks series airing on Noisey each week, following the stories of four artists as they travel to world famous studios to work with legendary artists.

DAP’s story and going off to Abbey Road Studios is told from his perspective. We also see the relationship between being at school and pursuing a music career. Around the same time he heads to Abbey Road, he has the LawSATs and this is obviously a big deal. We see conversations between Dolapo and his parents, his parents standpoint being that he must earn a degree first and that music will always be around for him.

He sees recording at Abbey Road studios as an opportunity of a lifetime because some of his idols have recorded in the same room he now graces. We see him work with Mark Ronson who is pleased that he and DAP have similar types of music they enjoy.

He took the LSAT in September 2015 and did well on them and this simply complicates his ability to decide on whether to stick with school or chase a career in music but claims that he shall let his fate decide.
