With a strong claim to rap royalty and a name that now commands respect in the Hip hop scene, Psycho YP has built a reputation rooted in Abuja but has made transcendental impact. The past few weeks have seen him save a slew of records with redeeming verses that speak to the quality of his flow and his charm. This month, he continues down the same path except he’s matching energies this time on UK based artist and video director, Tiqeu’s Last Night.
Produced by London, the Afropop and Dancehall coalition which also serves as a follow up to Tiqeu’s earlier released Angelina featuring Oxlade, pays tribute to Afropop, Dancehall and the duo’s feelings, also, with just enough character and soul to not come off as your run-of-the-mill Afroswing inspired record.
Tiqeu and Psycho YP are a likely pair and the lush Last Night is not only proof of their collective genius but individual prowess.
