Nigerian pop star Tiwa Savage has returned with another amapiano-infused single, but this time, she teams up with Mr. Money himself, Asake. Fast-paced, concise, and arguably more appealing than her last offering, the song, aptly called Loaded, sees both artists in a confident mood.
Both artists have been teasing snippets of the song and collaboration for some time, and now it arrives, accompanied by a new music video. Shot by TG Omori, the video features colorful scenes, with both stars looking affluent and at ease. Already, the video is currently #4 on trending music on YouTube.
Asake, on his part, delivered in his usual infectious style, and while it may be true that the song’s beat sounds almost exactly like all the others we’ve heard him on, it would seem the star has simply found his niche since predictable beats haven’t (as yet) stopped anyone from listening. Performed mostly in Yoruba, Savage, on the other hand, brings up her ‘controversial’ sex tape that surfaced online not too long ago, bragging that the whole situation could never hold her back.
Tiwa Savage has reportedly been putting the finishing touches to her upcoming studio album, and from every indication, seems poised to take over the airwaves with her new vibe.
