Bob Marley & The Wailers’ posthumous album, Africa Unite, has been released, and it features a number of current African acts who bring modern twists to ten memorable songs from his discography. The album, which features Nigerian stars like Teni, Rema, Oxlade, Teni, Ayra Starr and Tiwa Savage along with other acts from around Africa, sees the finest from the continent come together to pay tribute to the late Jamaican legend.

Across ten tracks, including classics like One Love, Jamming and Them Belly Full, a new generation of stars provide verses that complement Bob Marley’s reggae compositions, providing today’s African youth with access to the music of yesterday. Nigerian producers Pheelz and Mystro are recruited behind the boards to provide a harmonizing sonic feel.

Africa Unite has received the endorsement of Bob Marley’s daughter Cedella Marley, as well as grandson Skip Marley, who contributed a verse as well. The LP pays homage to Bob Marley while introducing the flair of modern African music, thus making it an ideal listen for fans of both worlds.
