Nigerian singer-songwriter and alté artist Tomi Thomas has premiered the live performance video of the song Waiting. The song is part of the six-track EP Hopeless Romantic which he released in June 2021, where he fuses sounds from several genres, including afropop, dancehall and reggae.
For the live performance, Thomas is accompanied by guitarists, a keyboardist and a drummer. “True love doesn’t leave in the morning,” he sings, the song an avowedly sensual romantic plea.
The newly released video paves the way for future projects from the artist.
