Seeing as Boko Haram videos are always in Arabic and that is not a language many understand we have transcribed Abubakar Shekau’s new video addressing African leaders including Paul Biya of Cameroon, Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria and Muhammadu Yusuf, King of Niger. Shekau asserts that with the arms they have acquired from their massacre on Baga they will continue to terrorise all who challenge them.
“Jonathan , you’re doomed. Governors of Nigeria, you’re doomed. These ammunitions were found in the state of Baga. They were found in Doro. You say you don’t have ammunitions – lies! You’re powerless. Allah is the one with the ammunition, the one that will finish everyone – He is the one with ammunition. What did we ever have? We grew up with sticks and knives. How can we then lack ammunition today ? We cannot lack unless Allah deprives us. Jonathan. Jonathan. (Laughs). Now you see, your enemies are cursing you – see the result of following people that are non-believers. This is the end. This is the end. Whoever follows people will end badly. Whoever follows people will end badly. This is the end of politics. This is the end of democracy. The number of people we killed for you is small.”
“Because of that, we did it and we won’t stop doing it. This is even small. Wait and see. You keep saying Buhari Buhari , Jonathan Jonathan. You think Buhari is Muslim ? He’s a non-believer.”
“Muhammadu Yusuf, the king of Niger, you were among of ones that went to Holland to preach? Grandson of Shirle. Muhammad Yusuf, is that your work? Muhammad Yusuf, you will see. President of Niger, you will see.”
“Paul Biya, is it that you are scared? You even went looking for help. Who will help you? Whoever helps you, Allah is bigger than help.”

This is the flag of Nigeria and just like my brothers burnt , I will finish up their work by burning it – useless flag , non-believer flag. I will put a flag of La illah ha illal lahu (there is no God, but Allah) instead of this flag. I will curse it until Allah puts forth that flag. And the last thing I want to talk about, on which I will finish on by the grace of God Almighty.”

The ammunition we got from Baga and Doro are enough to fight the whole of Nigeria, talk less of Cameroon. (Burns flag , shoots , puts another flag). I pledge to Allah, my God. To be faithful, loyal and honest. To serve Allah with all my strength , to defend his Islam.” ( People in the background are saying Allah is great , and he says so himself when he’s done).
“Thank You, Allah. Islam and Islam. Islam and Islam. War by war. Who is the unbeliever?” (Shekau finishes and the camera turns to other man. He burns another Nigerian flag We thank God.)
“It is us; those that are fighting in the land of Nigeria. We are known and it is us. We thank God. All these ammunition you’re seeing – it was Allah that gave us in the land of Baga. There is nothing we can tell Allah , but thank you. I swear we thank Him. We thank Him. These things that he gave us – we do not know how many there are. It’s not like He gave us because we are powerful, no. He gave us so we can work with them. We thank God. We are thanking God. While he gave us these, we promise to give him back our lives, wealth, blood everything by His grace and we will work with it. We promise. This is what they call AK47. They are all here. The first, second, third, fifth – all AK47s. And these big boxes contain even more of them. And they are even bringing more.”
