Africa Magic’s pioneer romantic reality show Ultimate Love is now streaming on Showmax; the nomination show goes straight to Showmax after airing every Sunday night, and there’s also a weekly recap episode that highlights the most exciting events of the week. This makes it easier for viewers who are not in Nigeria to follow the show.
Ultimate Love follows 16 love guests – eight male and eight female – into Aunty’s Love Pad (The Residence), where they stay for eight weeks and under her guidance find their ultimate partner. After two weeks of getting to know themselves in Aunty’s Love Pad, the contestants will be paired for the rest of their time on the show.
The format is similar to Big Brother Africa’s: every week, viewers decide on their favorite couple and the couple with the least votes is evicted. The last couple standing will receive a cash prize, an all-expense-paid wedding, and a fully furnished apartment.
