UnitedMasters Marks African Entry With Sarz Partnership For “1789” Imprint

UnitedMasters, the  music distribution and artist services company, founded by Nas’ former manager and longtime music and advertising executive, Steve Stoute, has announced a partnership with acclaimed Nigerian producer, Sarz, to launch 1789. The partnership aims to discover, develop, and empower the next generation of African artists, while positioning them to dominate global stages and platforms

Under this partnership, UnitedMasters will empower 1789, to partner and develop African artists across the continent while leveraging UnitedMasters’ platform inclusive of brand, sync, and artist services. This partnership will provide transparency, access to brand and sync opportunities, and capital for 1789 to develop talent. Sarz envisions utilizing this partnership to expand 1789 and UnitedMasters’ reach for artist discovery and catalog licensing in key Anglophone African markets such as Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, South Africa, and other Sub-Saharan African countries.

UnitedMasters will also support Sarz’s various initiatives, including The Sarz Academy Foundation, which fosters the growth of artists and producers. The Sarz Academy has helped launch the careers of prominent talents such as P.Prime and Tempoe. P.Prime has produced for Burna Boy, Fireboy DML and Wizkid, while Tempoe’s production of CKay’s Love Nwantiti has garnered over 8 billion streams worldwide.
