YCee and Reekado Banks joined forces to deliver Link Up in December 2016 and close out what was a great year for both acts. For YCee, it marked his first year since his breakaway and he built on 2015’s run which earned him the Rookie of the Year award with tracks like Su Mi and the remix to Omo Alhaji as well as signing to Sony Africa who shall roll out his debut EP, The First Wave. Reekado was crowned the Next Rated at 2015’s Headies and therefore had high expectations to be met. He delivered his debut album, Spotlight with tracks like Standard, Problem and Ladies and Gentlemen, headlined his own Thank You Concert this December and featured on tracks like Jawon Laya.
