The second season of The Voice Nigeria has witnessed some amazing performances that have left Nigerians and African’s alike semi-star struck. Topping that list is a performance from J-Dess repping team Waje. J-Dess’ rendition of Is It Because I Love You is surely the best thing you will hear this week.

Originally released in October of 2015, Is It Because I Love You featuring Patoranking was one of the more notable records off Lil Kesh’s debut album. Two years later, J-Dess covers the song on The Voice Nigeria and we cannot get enough of how amazing she sounds. She takes the high tempo beats and switches it up so swiftly, it almost wants to make you feel it was released that way. Coupled with her effortless performance, J-Dess did an amazing job as in a matter of seconds, she turned this song into a soulful melody.
