Santi travels back in time to drive his intent for his bizarre muse in the vintage themed visuals for recently released single; Freaky featuring Bridge and Nonso Amadi who also have roles to play in the gloomy scenes of this video.
The self directed visual which blurs the lines of psychedelia complete with a queer aura as a result of its possession of elements of cosmic forces and rusty graphic scenes alludes the gloomy lyrics delivered by Santi, Bridge and Nonso Amadi. The trio take on roles ranging from Exorcist to Victim all trying to get rid of a girl who possesses the powers that be.
Following the snippet released in announcement of the single, Santi explained that the visuals were inspired by a fondness for the technicality of the Nigerian movie industry; particularly the horror movie category. His freaky muse who seeks to devour his soul was borne out of this fondness. The video which premiered on The Fader today is officially out tomorrow.
