2020 is setting up as another busy year for prolific writer-director Biodun Stephen who just released the trailer for her first film of the year, IJGB.
The story follows Osezuo, a young man who is tired of being poor. He knows success takes time, but he’s tired of waiting. “I know, but when will it ever get to my turn?” he asks. He disturbs his wealthy friends to show him the way, and when they finally do, it is a path he is unsure of following.

Stephen loves to teach life lessons with her stories, and IJGB won’t be any different. There are similarities to Ramsey Nouah’s Living in Bondage: Breaking Free, which also follows a young man whose insatiable hunger for wealth becomes his undoing.
IJGB stars Tomiwa Sage, Vivian Metchie, Mc Reason, Taiwo Adeyemi, Ayuba Adebayo and Yhemole. The film will most likely debut on IrokoTV, which houses most of Stephen’s movies.
