The abuse domestic helps suffer is explored in this trailer for Under, a crime-drama miniseries created by Ifeoma Chukwuogo (Bariga Sugar) starring Tope Tedela in a lead role.

Set around the intersection of politics, abuse, and crime, Under tells a story survival, love, good vs evil, and justification for doing evil to survive. Gift, a young domestic help who is constantly abused by her madam, accidentally murders someone in self-defense and the event is witnessed by Nonso (Tope Tedela), a criminal involved with a kidnapper syndicate. He promises not to tell anyone and their meeting leads to a friendship that blossoms into love and surviving together.

Ifeoma Chukwuogo, who burst onto the Nollywood scene with her critically acclaimed short, Bariga Sugar, is directing and producing the miniseries. She co-wrote it alongside Ademola Soares, who shot Bariga Sugar. Other cast members include Kunle Coker, Efa Iwara, Rita Edwards, Chioma Nwosu, Gabrielle Omozele, Yemi Sodimu, Ijeoma Grace Agu, and Christian Paul.
