Watch Wande Coal’s ‘King Coal’ Documentary

Last month, NotJustOk released a trailer for the King Coal, which followed the singer in the run-up to his first-ever headline concert in Nigeria. Now, the documentary is finally out, giving more insight into Wande Coal’s creative process. 

After a successful run as an Afrobeats artist juggling between the Nigerian and UK music scenes, Wande Coal finally gave his fans what they had been anticipating for years: King Coal concert.

The documentary shows the icon rehearsing for his then-upcoming concert, particularly doling on the synergy between him and his band. The documentary also follows him on his media runs, managing to get some gems out of him during each commute. 

It was his first concert since he became an independent act. Notjustok TV journeyed with Wande Coal and his team to show the background scenes before and during the event. It was a long-awaited concert and his fans turned out in massive numbers to show love and support to the amazing singer.
