Wizkid compares Ojuelegba to New York in Beats 1 interview

Wizkid’s on a promo run to promote his new album (he’s calling it an EP but it can’t be one as the good people of DJ Booth have made clear). Sounds From The Other Side is the first project to come from his attempt to cross over from the continent to the big leagues after years of slowly building momentum.

To promote it, he sat down with Ebro Darden of Hot 97 fame on his Beats 1 radio show. Armed with a new accent, he drops a gems likening Ojuelegba to New York and speaks of the process that went into making SFTOS, his come up amongst others. Watch the footage in the clip below;
