A constant problem Wizkid’s camp has suffered from this year has been leaks of material and it doesn’t look like it’s coming to an end anytime soon. A conspiracy theory that has been put forward suggests that the leaks have been intentional and employed because of the reins Wizkid’s Sony deal presents. While that could explain why the alternative video for Come Closer first came as a leak before making its way to Wiz’s official Vevo page, it doesn’t explain the music Wiz released via his Soundcloud page while the said Sony deal has been in place. The latest leak, Craving, comes despite the release of excessive music officially from Wiz particularly with the Nigerian audience in mind of recent. Coupled with Wiz’s failure to acknowledge it across his social media platforms and its absence from his Soundcloud page, the suggestions that there’s a mole in the Starboy camp are given weight.

Craving could easily have fit in on Sounds From The Other Side as it tells the same story of how much Wizkid can do for a love interest most of the mixtape does.
