You Don’t Want to Miss EDL’s Jollof

We let you know in our Summer Guide that while Eat Drink Lagos was not going to have its regular festival that has drawn interesting numbers over the past 18 months, something else was in store. Last week, they revealed that they shall host Jollof, a three day celebration of all things Jollof featuring a private dinner hosted by Kitchen Butterfly, a workshop on jollof and its origins and a mini festival.

As opposed to the festivals we’ve been treated to in the past, this year’s celebration of the greatest thing yet shall see vendors channel their creativity into food as they “re-imagine Jollof.”

Sponsors include Guinness Africa Special who will be at the drinks bar, Maggi with the Jollof rice bar and Jollof education for the workshop and JumiaFood who come armed with vouchers.

Jollof will hold at the Jaekel House at the Nigerian Railway Compound, Ebute-Metta while the private dinner and workshop dates will be revealed as we draw closer to the event which will come to life on Sunday the 20th of  August. Unlike its previous events which have been free, there’ll be a 1,000 naira charge. If you want to skip the line, you can pay here
