The Youth Party has announced modalities for its Primary Elections in preparation for the 2019 general elections.
The Party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) through its National Organising Secretary, Mr. Olusegun Adeniyi, said the primaries will commence on the 25th of September with the state house of assemblies and end with the presidential primary on the 28th of the same month.
Adeniyi revealed that the primaries will be conducted on the basis of One Member One Vote (OMOV) as there would not be delegates or super delegates.
He also said the party would be adopting electronic means: online and SMS.
Interested aspirants have been asked to pick the Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms at the National Secretariat and State Offices from August 20 – September 1, 2018.
