Yung D3mz Comes Into His Own On Self Titled Debut EP ‘Yung’

Following the release of his warmly received debut, a five-track collaborative mixtape, Girls Like You, with Uche B and BoyeTheGenius, Yung D3mz, while utilizing his experience from the mixtape and leveraging the attention it has afforded him, debuts in his own unique way and notably, solo on a five-track EP eponymously titled Yung, on which he expresses his personal creative vision.

Summarily, Yung is an avenue for Yung D3mz to welcome the fanbase he accumulated on his work on Girls Like You, into his new universe. On this debut, he takes his listeners through the motions of being a young up and comer, an expectation given away by the EP’s title and in fact, met with his approach to his music. Covering topics such as love, desire, and his desire to stay grounded, D3mz provides a strong selection of anthems for the good times, the low times, and everything in between.

Yung D3mz is many things, a producer, a vocalist, and a songwriter among others. Yung is a reflection of these varying personas collecting in a pool to result in the cohesive body of work that is. For a debut, it’s just as impressive as the many coats its creator wears.
