In a manner that casts him in the light of a Judge delivering an ordinance, which in the case is his agenda, Zamir rhythmically offers the well worn but still trending decree, toeing aged and modern lines as he attempts to blend the best of West Africa’s early millennium music culture and now. His Awilo Logomba sample is not the only welcome oddity in the single but also, the dissonant but somehow harmonious nature of the gyrating instrumentals.
