Posted onWith the recent release of a commemorative limited–edition Nigeria 60th Independence Day Pack, Coca-Cola takes its ongoing post-pandemic ‘Open Like Never Before’ campaign to new heights. Designed by Diana Ejaita, a renowned multidisciplinary artist, Coca-Cola aims to stir national pride with a work of extraordinary artistic excellence, uniting Nigerians to appreciate the diverse features of our heritage. The special pack is a nostalgic re-imagination of Nigeria’s emergence as a strong and independent nation, with vivid metaphors of an eagle taking flight deftly incorporated into the predominantly green design to celebrate Nigeria and the many achievements of its people these last six decades. On the pack design, Diana explained that “the aim is to create images that trigger vibrant nostalgia; that mine beautiful memories of home from independence in 1960 to date.” The Independence Day pack portray the spirit of pride, resilience, and strength that exists in every Nigerian and further demonstrates Coca-Cola’s commitment to supporting and celebrating Nigerians, including its retail partners and small businesses in line with the company’s global Open Like Never Before campaign that encourages people to appreciate what they previously took for granted and to explore new opportunities post-pandemic. The limited-edition Independence packs will be available in stores nationwide to kick off celebrations of Nigeria’s 60 great years like never before.
