Former Akwa Ibom Governor and current Senator, Godswill Akpabio has been centre of conversations of recent with suggestions he is preparing to depart PDP and make a move to the current ruling party, APC. Amidst speculations, a tweet from President Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on National Affairs Matters all but confirms that the former Governor’s arrival to APC shall be finalised with a Wednesday 8th August parade in Akwa Ibom.

The suggestion was further corroborated by APC’s UK account on Twitter who went on to reveal that the parade shall hold at Ikot Ekpene but offered a different date.
Regardless of when the parade shall hold, Godswill Akpabio by all indications shall be a member of APC come the end of the week.
