Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, has named former Arsenal and Super Eagles legend Kanu Nwankwo, as his Senior Special Assistant on Sports. The announcement which was made at a state dinner in Owerri was made on the 15th of August.
The striker who represented Nigeria from 1994 to 2010 will be tasked with bringing his knowledge to the fore in the bid to develop and grow the state’s sports sector.
