M.I shares Vintage video For Nonso Amadi Collab ‘Playlist’

Last year, with a discography that spanned two complex and acclaimed projects, the former which sought to hop on more inclusive trends, M.I returned to the scene after a brief time away. This month just as the buzz surrounding both projects has died down, his creative style and talent bubbles to the surface with the Seyi Akinlade directed video for one of Rendezvous’ standouts, the Hip-hop and Jazz hybrid, Playlist which features Nonso Amadi.

Tempered in retro themes, the dramatic video opens with a scene of the track’s muse musing over her love interest – Nonso Amadi’s antics after which M.I takes over with his verse, one that corresponds with the landscape scenes that serve as the backdrop to his narrative.
