Steph Curry Will Miss Miss At Least Two Weeks With Sprained MCL

Golden State Warriors guard, Stephen Curry has enjoyed another sensational, record- breaking season. He led the NBA in scoring average 30.1 points per game, 50.4 % field goal percentage, 91 % percent from the free-throw line, and also most three points ever in a regular season with 402. He would have been the front runner for All-Star votes, but due to Kobe Bryant’s fair well, he came 2nd.

After the conclusion of the regular season, breaking the Chicago Bulls record for wins, it was almost conclusive that the Steph Curry and the warriors will repeat as NBA champions. However, last night, the Warriors faced a big scare as they took on the Houston Rockets in game 4.

At the last play before half time, while guarding Rockets forward, Trevor Ariza, Steph Curry appeared to slip and extend his knee. He did not return to action. After the end of the game, various NBA reporters claimed he suffered an MCL sprain. Luckily, after an MRI a few hours ago, the results came back negative. He will most likely miss half of the second round against the Clippers/Blazers, but more importantly would want to be healthy enough for the potential matchup against Western Conference rivals, San Antonio Spurs, in the finals.
