The boys at Submarine And A Roach are back with season two of the podcast. On the opening episode, Tmt, Kojo and Mayowa reacquaint themselves and delve into the worlds of Mr Eazi’s take on Ghana’s influence on Nigerian music, Santi and Odunsi making it to OVO Sound Radio as well as poor marketing campaigns and appropriation which is considerably more important with the wave of poor adverts from Gucci, Pepsi, Play Station and Nivea over the past week.
They also look at YCee and compare him to some American rappers like Wiz Khalifa in terms of style as well as Maleek Berry’s evolution from artist to producer and the presence of an Afro-Funk scene in Nigeria which was pioneered by William Onyeabor.
