Sute Iwar Plays on the Borders of RnB and Jazz on ‘overtime’

Another day, another release via the FridayCruise Soundcloud page. This time we are fed a track titled overtime from Bantu Collective’s Sute Iwar who joins acts like Tay, Odunsi and GMK on the page which vows to hand listeners eclectic sounds from Africa and is easily one of the best discoveries from the past week.

On the record, Sute delivers RnB music which can easily be transformed into Jazz particularly as a result of the addition of saxophones, trombones, trumpets to the piano keys, bass guitars and drums which start off the track. Sute stays away from rap which some may tag his strong suit going off previous material as he explains the hardwork he is putting in to make away with the finer things.
