Tiwa Savage seals UMG deal

Tiwa Savage’s status as the premier female artist in the country is one that is not really in question. Over the course of her career, she has earned for herself a reputation as one of the country’s best popstars and performers. Earlier today, she announced that following the expiration of her deal with Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records, a label she’s been signed to since its inception in the wake of the Mo Hits split. Her next port of call? Universal Music Group- the world’s largest record label.

Per Billboard, under the terms of the deal, Savage’s future music will be released by UMG in over 60 countries worldwide.

All of Savage’s UMG projects will be executive produced by Efe Ogbeni of Regime Music Societe and VA PR founder Vannessa Amadi-Ogbonna.
