Comfortably one of the biggest party anthems of 2017, Penalty by Small Doctor gets a refix, and considering how intoxicating the original release was, this is more than enough reason to get excited. DJ Consequence who seems to be on an unrelenting mission to introduce alternative sounds and house music to the Nigerian music scene works wonders once again.
It was with great success that DJ Consequence dropped a refix to Davido’s Fall and almost literally broke the Internet. Whilst we still savoured the release of that refix, DJ Consequence comes through again with the EDM Refix for penalty.
In collaboration with Phantom and Maestro D, the refix retains the festive undertone of the original song. It is still very much a party tune, and you will be amazed that the refix pays attention to just the chorus, YET delivers in every sense of the word – at least for us house enthusiasts. We look forward to more refixes from Dj Consequence.
