Charles Okpaleke made his first public foray into film when he produced the sequel to Living in Bondage, the movie dubbed to have started the industry we today know as Nollywood. After acquiring the rights in 2015, Okpaleke teamed up with Ramsey Nouah to bring the movie that was released in 2019 to life. Since then, Okpaleke has shown no intention of slowing down, also acquiring the rights to Glamour Girls and now Rattle Snake.
Okpaleke is however choosing to operate in the non-conventional way when it comes to Nollywood suggesting that instead of mass-producing, he will be dedicated to these two movies over the next two years. According to Okpaleke, Rattle Snake will come first and is expected in December 2020. The project will see him team up with Nicole Asinugo and Ramsey Nouah who also worked on Living in Bondage in the capacities of writer and director.
