It is with no doubt that fashion trends are moving at a fast pace and we need to always be on our toes to catch up in this highly competitive market.
We took our time to look out for these brands that are doing amazingly well in the fashion and creative industries but are also proudly Ghanaian-owned EU brands. ADjéi which specializes in luxury streetwear in Paris recently teamed up with London-based sunglasses and accessories brand Dieu Bénir to come out with what they will call ‘‘DUSK till DAWN’’. This very special capsule collection designed by creative director Dzidzor Adjei who is also the founder and artistic director of the ADjéi brand briefs us on this collaboration.
The darkness and light-themed project is titled ‘‘DUSK till DAWN’’ and was inspired by the dark clouds and atmosphere around the earth between the sunset and sunrise period but also focuses on the sunshine that brings us light after the dark. The choice of colors (black, gold, and blue) represents the clouds and the galaxy. The whole inspiration comes from what we experience in our daily lives on this planet.
The collection which has some very interesting and unique pieces will be available for sale on their respective websites and aims to compete highly in the global fashion space.
