Baltimore based, Nigerian artist ADURAH shares Glory Bound, his debut project, a blend of Hip Hop, Rock, and Afro inspired sounds. Over the course of the project, he delivers messages about overcoming adversity, intrinsic motivation, and feeling unstoppable. Voices, his first single of the year, which is excluded from Glory Bound but still makes a great listen, touches on remaining motivated in the face of adversity because of an understanding that there is a higher calling
The project opens with Chosen, on which Adurah asserts his belief that he belongs here, is headed for the top, and was “chosen for this.” On Feeling, we hear Adurah with the conviction and confidence necessary to succeed as he touches on his major motivator, providing for family. The One, the final track on the project is proof he saved the best for last as he delivers a powerful hook singing “I was lost, now I’m found” before declaring that nothing will stand in his path on the road to success.
Adurah is a new voice fusing his backgrounds to create multidimensional music that we should all listen to.
