The dystopian universe in the Gianluigi Carella directed video is in clear parallel with the ​Alternative RnB style ​Amaarae is popular for, and with lockdown a determining factor in the animated directive, the video transitions from an avatar version of the songstress, tired of the monotony of the daily routine, to being abruptly transported to a hyper-modern alternative world.
