Nigerian music sensation Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has released a new single titled Sability. The single is in line with her self-acclaimed moniker “Sabi Girl” which she describes as a woman who knows her craft. Following the success of her single Rush, Ayra Starr is back with her first single in 2023, Sability, to dominate the Nigerian music scene once more.

On Sability the Mavins Records signee delivers an excellent performance on the London-produced track. Ayra Starr had initially teased the new single with a melodic snippet on Instagram but officially announced its release yesterday with a colourful and vibrant performance video.

“E le oh / Greet everybody for here oh / Padi jo se se pele oh / Mo ti so fun won tele oh / Belle oh / Deliver like I get belle oh / Them say I dey go cele oh / Them say I dey go cele oh / Espiritu Fortuna / I go make you jo dada / Shey you getty the power / Sweet passi Amala Ketu / Shinji Kagawa / Jesu Kristi loba wa / Gat dem falling yakata / You know as e sabi girl dey do,” Ayra Starr sings on the songs intro. She’s saying a number of things: she always delivers, her songs will always make you dance, and she’s back to claim her rightful spot in the industry.

The Benin-born songstress has risen to the top of her game since her debut in 2021. Her record, Away, off her self-named EP caught the attention of her fans, receiving positive reviews from critics and peaking at number 4 on the Top 50 charts on Nigeria’s TurnTable.

Earlier this month, Rush hit 80 million views on YouTube and 3 days ago, Boomplay Nigeria congratulated the 20-year-old singer on reaching 200 million streams on its platform. Sability follows Ayra’s recent collaborations with Kelly Rowland on Bloody Samaritan Remix, Wizkid on his recent album More Love, Less Egoand UK rapper Stormzy on his latest album titled This Is What I Mean.
