Ayüü has shared the video for Ayüüniverse standout, Gawu and it’s the stuff of the slinkiness with which he glided through the funkadelic fifteen-track debut album which is almost a year old now. Not only does he resurrect the project with the vim that’s also palpable in the way he chases his muse through the streets in the video, but he also lets us into his self-curated utopia, hinged on the strong emotions he feels.
The ShotbyGhst directed video follows the path of the punchy acoustic-driven track which draws credibility from Ayüü’s rich vocals and the flutters set off by Trillxoe and Tobay’s rich mix of drums. He chases his woman through the streets, eventually catches up with her before they take on the world, a nod to the cruise he admits she’s got him on.
