In the first iteration of Davido’s label, B-Red was one of the acts to benefit. In the same vein and a follow on from his debut in the early ’10s, B-Red returns this month with a Peruzzi and Davido joint effort titled Dollar.
Over a springy Afropop inspired instrumental, B-Red delivers his usual with no twist except the above-average performances Davido and Peruzzi contribute. The accompanying video directed by Stanz and rife with cameos contributes to the contrasting effect of the song’s lyrics.
