B-Red teams up with Don Jazzy on standard Afrobeat hit ‘E Better’

B-Red has never had a concrete spot in the industry but this hasn’t deterred him from occassionally filtering in and out with typical Afrobeat records which find their place. This is a move he makes with E Better for which he enlists Don Jazzy who isn’t popular for his singing ‘talent’ but for his ability to add flavour and X factor to ordinary records which he does here.

B-Red channels his inner Nigerian and gives us the full scope of his pidgin and yoruba vocabulary as he attempts to serenade his listeners with an engaging but chaotic narrative alluding to his relationship with the track’s muse. While Don Jazzy’s contribution goes under the radar, it adds a welcome highlife inspired twist to the acoustics driven track.

Though not entirely engaging, the Magic Boi produced E Better is another standard effort from the HKN Camp which has the makings of a club hit and Afrobeat playlist element.
