Big Brother Naija star Pere Egbi is set to star in his new feature-length film The Silent Intruder which will set the mood for this year’s Valentine’s Day.
The reality TV star, who is executive producer on the project, made this announcement on his Instagram: “This Valentine Season, dive into the provocative world of ‘Silent Intruder’, where the magnetic Zaki, a successful sex therapist, grapples with insatiable sex desires”.
Produced by Mo Fakorede and directed by Uyoyou Adia, the film stars Pere Egbi, Uche Montana, Kachi Nnochiri, Venita Akpofure, Lucy Ameh, Dotun Oloniyo and Lydia Achebe.
Pere Egbi was a finalist in the Big Brother Naija Season 8: All Stars edition which was held in 2023. Being an actor, the former housemate is remembered for his roles as Sweet Water Brown in Gem of the Rainforest, Duke in Duke and Dami, Malik in Rent A Room, Dr. Emeka in Pound of Flesh, and James in Nikki: A Hip Hop Love Story. He played a lead role as Bobby in Dead Presidents Society, and recently appeared in Moses Inwang’s Blood Vessel.
Pere’s first film The Silent Intruder is distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, and will be available in Nigerian cinemas from February 9, 2024.
